Branding
A company's branding starts with its logo but extends well beyond the mark itself. Branding usually includes business cards, envelopes and letterhead (corporate identity as we call it in the design world), advertising, vehicle graphics design, signage, brochures, and even apparel. Even a website is part of a company's branding. We consider these main points in evaluating successful branding:
"Is it recognizable and unique?"
"Does it reflect the brand's essence and mission statement?"
"Does it promote a positive user experience and / or consumer trust?"
"Does it remain relevant over time?"
"Is it capable of expansion as the company grows and develops?"
"Are the elements for the brand consistent in their look and voice?"
At Morvil, we like to think of branding as a tree. The company's mission serves as the foundation, the roots of the tree. The logo is the tree trunk, its strength and origin of all growth. The other design elements (corporate identity, signage, website and beyond) become far-reaching branches of the tree. All this together represents the branding of the company. Morvil Advertising + Design is experienced in developing successful branding for local, regional and national clients.
